Guess 5-letter words to fill a 5×5 grid where every row and column is a word.
SquareWord is a challenging variant of the daily word game format, combining elements from games such as Wordle, Crosswords and Sudoku. Instead of guessing a single word, you need to fill an entire 5×5 grid, where every row and every column must be a valid 5-letter word.
The grid constraint means letters pull double duty: a great guess for one row can unlock a stuck column, and vice-versa.
Squareword launched in 2022, and was our very first game. It has been featured on website such as PCGamer and by various high-profile youtubers, and is being enjoyed by tens of thousands of players every single day. Since launching, we have added features such as dark mode, login, daily poems and an archive mode.
